About Me
I am an experienced couples’ therapist, based in north Oxford, working with clients face to face and online. I am a member of the BACP which means I meet the professional and supervisory standards required in the UK for practising counsellors and psychotherapists.
I worked for Relate, Oxfordshire for eight years as a couples' counsellor before setting up in private practice.
Perhaps there may be quiet alarm bells in your head about your current relationship which have been lingering too long but you are afraid to confront. Maybe you feel worn down by a repetitive pattern of arguing, lack of sex or general disconnection.
If this is the case I can work with you as a couple - or as an individual - to explore these issues and provide ideas and techniques which can break that pattern and encourage you to rethink your capacity for change. Perhaps you want some objective support in leaving a relationship or help as a couple as to how to separate in the best way possible. I take a pragmatic and flexible approach.
I worked in the corporate sector for 32 years before retraining as a therapist. I like to set clear goals for the work and review progress/change at each session.
