Lynne Trenery

Lynne is a specialist couples therapist working in north Oxford and online. She helps partners who feel stuck — worn down by repetitive arguments, disconnection, or doubts that have lingered too long — to break those patterns and rethink their capacity for change. She also works with individuals on relationship issues and self-esteem.

She worked in the corporate sector for over three decades before retraining as a therapist. Her approach is pragmatic and flexible: she sets clear goals at the start of the work, reviews progress regularly, and often gives couples practical things to try between sessions. She is equally skilled at supporting couples who want to repair a relationship and those deciding how to separate well.

A BACP member (MBACP 930160), Lynne qualified in 2017. She offers sessions for couples and individuals, in person or online.
