About Me
You are unique, and so how we work together will also be unique. I can help you explore any issues, working together to deepen your self-awareness, emotional processing and resilience. Though you may struggle to believe this at first, I believe you are the expert on yourself, and I will support you in finding different perspectives to effectively face current challenges and past issues.
You may be looking for counselling because you have a specific problem that you hope to resolve, or you may just feel a sense of dissatisfaction, anxiety, or unhappiness, and want to discover why, and how this can change.
Working with you, I can offer:
Genuine understanding and attentive listening without fear of being judged
Support to tune into yourself so you can understand what you truly need
Help to recognise and embrace your emotions
Deeper understanding of who you are in relationship with others
Ways to enhance your self-compassion and your ability to cope with uncertainty.
I mainly use aspects from Person Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I find the flexibility and creativity of this integrative approach helps me personalise therapy for each of my clients. I hold a Counselling Postgraduate Diploma and am a member of the BACP and ACC.
