Marie Hooper

Marie is an integrative counsellor working in Oxford and online. She tailors therapy to each person, drawing mainly on person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural approaches to deepen self-awareness, emotional processing and resilience.

People come to Marie with a specific difficulty to resolve, or simply a sense of dissatisfaction, anxiety or unhappiness they want to understand and change. She offers attentive, non-judgemental listening, support to recognise and embrace emotions, and ways to build self-compassion and cope with uncertainty.

She holds a postgraduate diploma in counselling and is a member of the BACP and the ACC.
