About Me

Do you bury and suppress your emotions, and hide them from those around you? You don’t want to burden others with your problems as you want to protect them? Maybe you want a space to be you, without judgement or pressure? All of that, and more, is okay. If this resonates, then I can help.

Hi, I’m Nicole, an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor – trained in Person-Centred Theory, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis (TA). Offering empathy and compassion, and a place to see you is at the core of my approach. I will meet you with curiosity and create a comfortable and welcoming place for you to feel understood. It's my privilege to sit alongside you and I'm always humbled by anything shared with me.

I can help you to express your emotions in a safe place, re-connect with your sense of self, explore that feeling that you're not good enough and more. I offer a place for you to come and be you, with no judgement or pressure. I will sit alongside you, letting you talk freely and openly about things that may be difficult to talk about anywhere else, and offer empathy and warmth as we go through this journey together.

Some areas that I have supported clients with include: identity; grief and loss; feeling lost; burnout; anger; anxiety; low mood/depression; trauma; boundaries and more. There are lots of reasons that bring people to counselling - these are just some of the themes that I have supported clients with. As someone with rosacea who has dealt with flare ups, I understand how hard issues relating to skin can be. I have a special interest in offering support to those whose mental health has been affected by skin-related health conditions, such as rosacea, acne, eczema, skin picking and more.

I offer in-person sessions in Oxford primarily to Young People (18-25) / Full-Time Students, and also offer a limited number of slots to Adults (25+). Please reach out for my current availability.

Reaching out for support takes a lot of courage, so if you have any questions please reach out and let me know.
